require的用法

require是動(dòng)詞詞性，通常用于及物動(dòng)詞和不及物動(dòng)詞，有需要，要求，命令，規(guī)定，想要等含義。也可引導(dǎo)賓語(yǔ)從句。

require的用法

require的釋義

vt.需要; 要求; 想要; 命令;

vi.要求，規(guī)定;

第三人稱單數(shù)：requires 現(xiàn)在分詞：requiring 過(guò)去式：required 過(guò)去分詞：required

1.require sth 需要，依靠

These pets require a lot of care and attention.

這些寵物需要悉心照顧。

2.require sb to do sth 要求某人做某事

At the beginning of the new term, all students will be required to take a short test.

在新學(xué)期的開(kāi)始，所有學(xué)生都要參加一次小測(cè)試。

3.require doing sth 需要做某事

This book is required reading for this course.

這本書是這本課程的指定讀物。

4.require that + 從句需要，要求

在require引導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從句中，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用“should +動(dòng)詞原形”，should可省略。

The situation required that he (should) be present.

這種情形需要他在場(chǎng)。
