communication用作名詞表示交流，通訊，溝通，傳達(dá)等含義。communication在商業(yè)信函和公文中常解釋為“信函”。

1.communication在商業(yè)信函和公文中常解釋為“信函”。

We have received your communication of 25 April.

2.Ministry of Communications意為“交通部”，當(dāng)中的Communications指的是所有一切交通方法或交通工具(means of communication)；

3.表示部隊(duì)從后方到前方的“交通線”時(shí)，可用line of communication(s)。

4.用作名詞

Telegraph communication was broken off.

電訊中斷了。

We are in communication with them on the matter.

我們正在就這件事和他們交換意見(jiàn)。

This communication is confidential.

這消息是機(jī)密的。

5.cut off communications 切斷聯(lián)系
