on the bed強調(diào)與床面接觸，坐在床上，把東西放在床上，與睡覺沒有聯(lián)系。in the bed表示在床里面，即在被窩里。in bed表示“躺在床上、臥病在床”，短語中的bed不指具體的床，故前在不用冠詞，in也不能改成on。
