any more意為“不再”，用于否定句中，構(gòu)成not...any more，與肯定句式中的no more同義。no more中的more是many/much的比較級，more有again之意，著重表示數(shù)量或程度的減少，意為“再也沒有更多（大）的數(shù)量（程度）”。no more等于not...any more。

1.any more的用法

（1）We couldn’t stand it any more.

我們不能再忍受了。

（2）I can’t take the job any more.

我不能再做這份工作了。

（3）We felt we had no home any more, no family, nothing.

我們覺得我們沒有了家，也沒有了家人，一無所有。

（4）I can't eat any more; I'm full up.

我不能再吃了，我已經(jīng)很飽了。

（5）There's no use you asking me any more questions.

你問我再多的問題也沒有用。

2.no more的用法

（1）I have no more to say.

我沒有什么要說的了。

（2）Time or opportunity lost will return no more.

機不可失，時不再來。

（3）He is determined to delay no more.

他下決心不再拖延。

（4）I will say no more on these matters, important though they are.

雖然這些事很重要，我也不想再說什么了。

（5）I've had enough of your insolence, and I'm having no more.

我受夠了你的侮辱，不能再容忍了。
