when的用法

作為副詞，它有以下的用法：

1、作為疑問副詞，引導(dǎo)特殊疑問句,意為“什么時候；何時”。如:

When will they come back?

他們什么時候回來？

When did you last see him?

你上次什么時候見到他的？

When can I see you?

我什么時候可以見你？

When would such a solution be possible?

什么情況下可以這么解決？

What time will they come back?

他們什么時候回來？

回答 when 引導(dǎo)的從句，不一定指出具體的時間點。如回答句 when 可用 tomorrow, next month 等。而回答 what time 引導(dǎo)的問句，則必須說出具全的時間點，如 at two o'clock, at five past ten 等。

2、作連接副詞，引導(dǎo)名詞性從句或不定式，意為“什么時候”。從句使用陳述句語序，時態(tài)根據(jù)實際情況而定。如：

主語從句：

When she'll be back depends much on the weather.

她何時回來在很大程度上取決于天氣。

When he was born is unknown.
