since，側(cè)重點(diǎn)在過(guò)程，后面所跟的一般是時(shí)間的具體點(diǎn)。如：He has worked here in the company since 2012。for，偏重于結(jié)果，后面一般用時(shí)間的具體數(shù)。如：He has worked here in the company for 6 years。

since 和for區(qū)別

1. Since+時(shí)間點(diǎn)，具體時(shí)間

“自從……以來(lái)，從……以后” 用來(lái)說(shuō)明動(dòng)作起始時(shí)間

I have been in Beijing since 2010.

2. For+時(shí)間段，用來(lái)說(shuō)明動(dòng)作延續(xù)時(shí)間長(zhǎng)度，因此句中的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞，也應(yīng)該是延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞。

I have been in Beijing for one year。

We have learnt English for about three years.

I have been here for 3 days. (對(duì))

I have arrived here for 3 days.（誤）

現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)態(tài)中for和since

1、for的意思是“達(dá)，共計(jì)”，所以它的后面就接時(shí)間段，而不是時(shí)間點(diǎn)。

I have lived here for five years. 我在這里住了五年了。

句中的five years就是時(shí)間段，它不是一個(gè)時(shí)間點(diǎn)。

2、since的意思是“自從”，它后面接時(shí)間點(diǎn)，它包含以下三種情況：

（1）since＋過(guò)去時(shí)間：

I have lived here since 2008.我自從2008年就住在這兒。（2008年是過(guò)去的時(shí)間）

（2）since＋時(shí)間段＋ago:

He has been away from here since three years ago. 他自從三年前就離開(kāi)這兒了。（three years為時(shí)間段）

（3）since＋一般過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài)的句子：

He hasn’t left here since he moved here. 他自從搬到這兒，就沒(méi)有離開(kāi)過(guò)這兒。（he moved here是一般過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài)的句子）

3、有些同學(xué)不懂什么是時(shí)間段，什么是時(shí)間點(diǎn)。我這里教給你一個(gè)很簡(jiǎn)單的辦法：有復(fù)數(shù)形式的就是時(shí)間段，沒(méi)有復(fù)數(shù)形式的就是時(shí)間點(diǎn)。如：

（1）九月：September （時(shí)間點(diǎn)）；九個(gè)月：nine months（時(shí)間段）

（3）3點(diǎn)鐘：3 o’clock（時(shí)間點(diǎn)）；三小時(shí)：three hours （時(shí)間段）

（4）前天：yesterday（時(shí)間點(diǎn)）；兩天：two days（時(shí)間段）

（5）去年：last year（時(shí)間點(diǎn)）：三年：three years（時(shí)間段）

（6）上周：last week（時(shí)間點(diǎn)）：兩周：two weeks（時(shí)間段）

上面這些時(shí)間段中，把數(shù)詞改成單數(shù)“一”時(shí)，仍然是時(shí)間段，如：

one month（一個(gè)月）, an hour（一小時(shí)）, a day（一天）, one year（一年）, one week（一周），half a year（半年）。
