使用的場景不同。兩者雖然都為會議或者開會的意思，但是兩者使用的場景不同，其中一個是比較正式的短語，而另一個是日常用語。meeting可以是開會、聚會、運(yùn)動會，從詞根meet就可以看出，這個名詞強(qiáng)調(diào)的是碰頭、會面；而conference則尤指討論會、協(xié)商會，在商務(wù)方面用得比較多，且比meeting正式。
