another與other的區(qū)別

①Some students like English and other students (others) like physics.

有些學(xué)生喜歡英語(yǔ)，有些學(xué)生喜歡物理。

(1)指單數(shù)：若泛指用another，若特指用the other。如：

Have another piece of chocolate. 再吃一塊巧克力糖吧。

He killed the other man in a fight. 他在搏斗中殺死了對(duì)手。

(2)指復(fù)數(shù)：若泛指用other(后接復(fù)數(shù)名詞)，若特指用the other(后接復(fù)數(shù)名詞)。如：

Other boys were arriving now. 其他男孩馬上也要到了。
